About us
Be5 STEM Club was formed in 2020 as a STEM enrichment provider for K – 12 students in the Capital District. The term “Be5” represents the company’s philosophy which is to empower students to develop their authentic identity, enhance their STEM learning and engage them in solving problems that are unique to their being.
Through a peer-mentoring model, Be5 STEM Club’s mission is to increase the number of students pursuing STEM careers and to increase STEM literacy for all students, particularly from underrepresented backgrounds. The vision is for all kids to develop a STEM identity and confidence from as early as preschool through perpetuity.
What We Offer
STEM After School Programming
These are weekly (for up to 10 weeks) stand-alone STEM programming at your school during the school year and can be designed to supplement classroom learning. Topics range from science experiments, engineering, robotics and coding designed for a 40 - 60 min time block. $25/session.
STEAM Family Engagement Events
These are event-style programming that involves staging pre-determined stations of STEAM activities where students move through with their families. Adult supervision is required. The cost of events varies and depends on duration of event, number of stations, half or full package and number of participants.
STEM Design-Thinking Challenges
This is for students who want to dive deeper into a specific topic and use either the scientific method or design thinking to solve a real world problem. The timeline for the challenges depend on the topic and can go for a minimum of 3 hours and unto 8-week long challenges. Cost is $225/3h session with full facilitation and materials included.
STEM Classroom Enrichment
We come into your classroom to offer exciting hands-on STEM learning experiences and expose the kids to a STEM professional. We start this program as early as pre school! These are 40 - 60 minute experiences that build student's STEM identity, giving them an opportunity to gain exposure to the variety of STEM programming that we offer. $25/session.

The STEM-X-Perience
- Regularly scheduled “STEM Saturdays” to experience the after school and classroom STEM programming.
- Promotional price for this is currently $15/hour long session.
- Sessions go from 10 – 1 pm on 6/10, 6/17, 6/24, 7/8, 7/15, 7/22, 7/29, 8/5, 8/12, 8/19 & 8/26.
STEAM Family Engagement Events
- Hour-long party at your kid’s birthday celebration
- Hour-long ice-breaker activities at your function
- Hour-long festival at your day care center, pre school classroom or at your event.
- Promotional Price of $200 for the hour-long events (max of 20 participants) plus $50 travel fee
- Two or Three-hour long STEAM Festival (Contact us for pricing)
Design-Thinking Challenges
- Mission to Mars (10 sessions of 90 – 120 min per session)
- Mars Exploration Project (4 weeks of 5 days per week and 180-min per day session)
- The Catapult Challenge (1 session for 180 minutes)
- Engineering Design & Robotics (4 weeks of 5 days per week and 180-min per day session)
- Robotics & Coding (1 week of 5 days per week and 180-min per day session)
- Basics of Coding, Artificial Intelligence & Virtual reality (2 weeks of days per week and 180-min per day session)
- Chemistry Experiments ((1 week of 5 days per week and 180-min per day session)
- Promotional Cost is $180/3-h session
