SuperStart Coding
SuperStart Coding is a program designed to provide young learners with a solid foundation in coding and computational thinking. Through engaging activities, students will explore block programming, build projects using Scratch, and tackle coding puzzles that develop their creativity and problem-solving skills.
What You'll Learn:
- Understand the basics of coding and computational thinking.
- Develop skills in block-based programming using Scratch.
- Create and debug simple coding projects and animations.
- Solve semi-complex coding challenges and puzzles.
- Build confidence in applying coding to innovative solutions.
Program Timeline:
- 20 hours (10 weeks, @2 hour per week) - In-Person (at the NATURE Lab) or Virtual
Key Features:
- Target Audience: Students as early as 7 years old who can read and anyone who is at the beginner level with coding.
- Program Duration: 10 learning modules, offering flexibility in pacing.

Program Cost:
- Standard Enrollment: $500
- All sessions are conducted in person with a dedicated instructor guiding a group of students through the entire curriculum.
- A minimum of 5 and maximum of 10 students is required to run the program.
- Ideal for students who benefit from interactive, hands-on instruction in a classroom environment.
Outcomes:
- Graduating students will be able to manipulate simple coding challenges and solve semi-complex problems.
